Yijie Lin is a Chinese American artist exploring how raw physical gesture serves as a direct extension of human consciousness. Lin investigates the intersection of Christianity, calligraphic stroke mechanics, and post-war phenomenology. His work examines how formalist pictorial affect and the tension between positive and negative space illuminate the underlying hyper-reality of presence, perception, and the essence of being.
